These are a few shots taken of the car when my brother made the purchase..Enjoy!

The first shot as we saw it:
We drove 3 hours in the midst of holiday weekend traffic on the NJ turnpike, and after those grueling 3 hours, here is the treasure we found:

Here is the motor shot:
A 100% stock appearing 3.8 Hot Air Motor, repotedly rebuild in 2002 by the original owner. Turbo, motor were reportedly rebuilt, however, the car ran as a daily driver for the three years until a knocking noise came about under the hood...ut oh...Car sat ever-since, waiting for us! |
|
This is a factory option:
Here is the "rare option" power moon-roof. The bubbling of the paint is the only imperfection of the body work, with the exception of the missing bumper fillers, and the new "Grand National" replacement hood. The original hood was said to be keyed in the midst of a divorce, however, a replacement hood with no imperfections was found and just needs to be painted to match!

Interior driverside:
The interior needs nothing. It is immaculate. Digital guages, power everything, and the carpets barely have any stains at the feet! Interior is factory buckets, sandstone cloth.

Passenger Side
This is the passenger side of the car, showing no signs of weather. What was unique on this car, is the pin striping. Within the Pinstriping, there is a T embedded at the opera windows on both sides...Nice touch!

The source of the Buick Power!
This is a nice shot (I thank you) of the stock Garret tubocharger and throttle body from the driverside. Everything seems to be in fine shape. No smoke came from the motor upon start-up, and car ran for several minutes, with no hesitations. I found only one vacuum leak, and it was only a cut hose for an aftermarket bood guage, so this seems like a great project!
